Jiahao Cheng joins Oak Ridge National Laboratory in August 2018

Jiahao Cheng has completed his Postdoctoral studies in CMRL and has joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in August 2018. At CMRL, Cheng has been working on virtual microstructure reconstruction, phase field fracture theory, multi-time and multi-spatial scale fatigue simulation, micromechanics-based constitutive modeling, homogenization, and non-linear and non-local numerical simulations. In his new position, will be working on meso-and micro-scale modeling of the mechanics of metallic material.

CMRL wishes Cheng the best of luck.
