Both Jiahao Cheng and Maxwell (Max) Pinz presented their work in San Diego, California, at the 146th Annual Meeting & Exhibition of TMS2017. Jiahao presented at the Magnesium Technology Symposium on March 1st. The title of his presentation was, “Simulating Discrete Twin Evolution in Magnesium Using a Novel Crystal Plasticity Finite Element Model”.
Max’s talk, “An Integrated Microstructure Development and Crystal Plasticity Approach with Uncertainty Quantification for Multi-scale Constitutive Model Development”, was presented a day later at the Computational Methods and Experimental Approaches for Uncertainty Quantification and Propagation, Model Validation, and Stochastic Predictions Symposium.
